1. What are the orgins of Halloween? I heard A.N. Wilson denounce it as a horrid "American import" so it must be American and it must be spreading. I wouldn't be shocked if its orgins where with socialists cause Halloween really is a manifestly socialistic holiday. Kids come door to door demanding, literally, hand outs and if you demur, you are the grinch. What does that teach our youngsters? But then again this is something for the John Birch Society to talk about.
2. I was wondering, what would happen if Prince William was caught saying anti-Obama things, like "Obama's destroying America." This would blow up all over the media, maybe he'd end up on the cover of "People" magazine. But i could imagine hipsters and other Obama adoring groups having anti-British pogroms and porotests as a result. crazy?
3. John Yoo needs to not be so accepted by Republicans. His brand of living document, executive power constinualism is unconservative and liberal Presidents will be the ones who exspand executive power to extreme legnths. The liberals will get the last laugh if John Yoo surmounts Robert Bork as house Constuinial thinker in the GOP.
